Sample Staff Communication Protocol
This is the basic structure and when done consistently, it will improve every aspect of an eldercare community--resident care, resident satisfaction and staff satisfaction. Another huge benefit is that it will help resolve small problems before they become large ones:
Weekly
- Administrator conducts a Department manager meeting
- The same day or at the latest the next day each department manager has a staff meeting
Monthly
- All staff recognition and traiing meeting
- Administrator conducts shift meeting on all 3 shifts
- Administrator meets one on one with each department manager for one hour to focus on improvement
